- Matheson Hammock Park Beach - Located at 9610 at Old Cutler Road in South Coral Gables. Concessions, lifeguards, restrooms, picnic tables and showers are available. For more information, contact Matheson Hammock County Park at 305/666-6979. This is more of a lagoon park that is a favorite of the locals. Perfect for young kids and families wanting a bay-side picnic.
- Miami Beach – Stretching for miles there are several public access points from South Beach to Surfside that provide access to the most famous beach in North America.
- South Beach – the beach that made Miami famous. This is America’s most popular European beach where skimpy swimsuits are in and there is crystal clear Atlantic waters with wide swatches of sand.
- Sunny Isles Beach – this upscale laid back beach north of Miami Beach is as relaxing as they come and everything that the more trendy South Beach isn’t.
- Surfside Beach (pictured)– Located on the barrier island north of South Beach this is the locals Miami Beach. Very ‘Californiaesque’ beach town atmosphere.
